Evart’s City Council is requesting public input in regards to the location of Evart city hall offices. The city hall offices that were housed in the depot building, located at 200 S. Main Street, were evacuated October 31, 2017 due to a dangerous mold issue. City hall offices were then moved into the airport building at 5814 100th Ave. As the depot building was never meant to be a permanent location for the city hall offices due to lack of space and inefficient technology infrastructure, city council is looking for public input on how to proceed with permanent location of the Evart city hall offices.
