Shout / Beatles Group Sought out for its memorable performances, SHOUT! has appeared at several Detroit radio station events, including a fund-raiser organized by WCSX Classic Rock for the victims of summer storms that tore through Hamtramck in 1997. One of the highlights of 1998 was the group's performance at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C., where SHOUT! gave two acclaimed performances accompanying a display of artwork from the world's most renowned artists featuring creations with The Fab Four as the theme. The group has even opened for well-known bands like Jefferson Starship, The Lovin' Spoonful, and even Mitch Ryder. SHOUT's triumph at the Beatlefest Battle of the Beatle Bands in Chicago two years in a row provides testament to the group's stimulating reproduction of the famed British rock group. |

Nobody’s Darlin’ – Rock girls that took up new instruments and started a Bluegrass band! We are an all-girl string band based in Grand Rapids, MI. We specialize in Old Timey, Bluegrass, and Gospel. Sometimes we also throw in some classic country tunes just for fun. Lots of songs about Drinkin', Dyin', and Jesus! The band was started in the summer of 2004 by Sarah Jane, and has since been warming hearts and making people smile. We love old theaters, new boots, good wine, great conversation, old songs, new friends, long drives in the country, short walks in the city, old movies, new lipstick, nice-fitting jeans, laughter, good food, dogs, cats, festivals of any kind, cold beer, free sandwiches, senior citizens, new babies, gourmet coffee, going barefoot (except Janet), and obviously making music. www.myspace.com/nobodysdarlin |
